The Democrat nominee Lauren Staley Ferry has committed a federal crime and also hasn't even taken the time to actually pay back the company she stole money from.
If you as a voter and/or concerned citizen are as worried as we are please vote for the other candidate. For those who do not have the insight that Ferry had taken a check from her place of employment and made it out to herself. When caught she moved out of state and she went on to continue moving. When these issue was brought to light, Ferry said she was sorry, although not to the injured person, and there was no effort to pay off this debt, no intention to correct her wrongdoing, rather she apologized and openly lamented how difficult it was to be blasted with her own blunders.
This shows a lack of responsibility for her own actions much less just how she might run the county clerks office, if she is able to!

Lauren Staley-Ferry, D-Joliet, was charged with the felony forgery in Maricopa County, Arizona. Staley-Ferry had lived and worked in Maricopa County but moved from there to Wisconsin before the charge was filed.
According to court documents, the charge alleged that, in July of 2002, Staley-Ferry stole a check from her place of employment at Independent Capital Group, then located in Scottsdale, Arizona, made it out to herself for an unknown amount and then deposited it into her personal checking account. The document said she did so without the knowledge or permission of her employer.
An arrest warrant was issued for Staley-Ferry’s arrest in April 2003, according to Amanda Jacinto, a spokeswoman for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. By that time, Staley-Ferry claimed she had already fled the state and was back in the Midwest, eventually settling in her hometown, Joliet.
Ms. .Jacinto said Staley-Ferry’s case predates the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office’s “records retention time,†but it seems Full Article Staley-Ferry was not incarcerated. Instead, Jacinto said, it appears Staley-Ferry was sent a summons to appear in court, which she failed to do.

She said the charges was “misdirected†and that there was “nothing there†in regard to the charge.
